The proposed Oakville Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) site consists of four parcels of land that would create a vibrant, mixed-use community around the Oakville GO Station, an important transit hub along the Lakeshore West Line.
The proposed Oakville TOC site has the potential to deliver new housing, employment opportunities and community amenities that will support the creation of a community that has public spaces for relaxation and play next to the station.
The proposed site would also contribute to the objectives of the province’s TOC program.
Community input is key in helping shape this TOC proposal, which will take place in late 2024, following the Town of Oakville’s planning review of the development concept. To learn more about the community engagement process, visit: www.OakvilleTOC.ca.
